Market Analyzer Description
Market Analyzer is a course on coding your own market analyzer for NinjaTrader 8, a tool based on more than 100 trading systems that shows which trading technique suits a symbol right now. I've built more than 1,000 trading systems, and this is one of the approaches I use when I look at a new symbol I'd like to trade. One thing to be clear about: this isn't a guide to NinjaTrader's built-in Market Analyzer window. The analyzer here is your own, coded in NinjaScript and yours to modify.
What's inside. Three hours, 15 lectures in three parts. Theory comes first: an introduction and the architecture, then four types of entry, impulse, impulse trend, pullback and pullback impulse, and the exits. Along the way, market movements are classified into a few kinds, each with its own trading approach. The Code part builds it all: a main template, defining and configuring the entries, then the exits one by one, stop and profit, trail stop, stop and reverse, and a time exit. The last part runs tests on ES.
What you'll be able to do. You'll be able to classify market movements and understand what stage a market is in right now. You'll know how to code impulse and pullback entries and the exits that go with them, and you'll have a tool to test any market for specific trends, plus more than 100 trading systems you can modify for your own ideas. Most of all, you'll understand a lot more about how the market moves.
Who it's for. Traders who want a systematic way to look at a new symbol before deciding how to trade it, and NinjaScript coders who want a ready base of trading systems to change and test. The Code part builds the entries and exits on a main template, so it suits you best if you already know some NinjaScript. The course is built on NinjaTrader 8.
Why it still matters with AI. AI like Claude can write an entry or an exit in seconds, but deciding which entries and exits fit a market, and checking that the code really does what the theory says, takes an understanding of how market moves are classified and how a trading system is put together in NinjaTrader. That's the part this course teaches. Everything in the course is coded on screen, step by step. My advice is the same as always: type it yourself as you watch rather than copy it, then use AI like Claude to explain, check or extend what you built. That's how it sticks. Enjoy the course!
