NCP Daily Fib Trader Description

NCP Daily Fib Trader is an automated Fibonacci strategy for NinjaTrader 8. Most traders have drawn Fibonacci retracements at some point, and many still use them as support and resistance. This strategy builds those levels from the previous session's range and trades them with the trend. It was built with prop firm evaluation accounts like Apex in mind. One honest warning: it is a grid strategy, so it adds to a trade that goes against it. How it works. Between Opening Range Start and Opening Range End (9:30 and 16:30 by default, chart time) it records the high and low. Levels go at 23.6, 38.2, 50, 61.8 and 78.6% of that range and repeat in range-sized blocks, six above and six below. An MA sets the trend (EMA, MA Period 20). After a bar closes above it, the strategy places a buy limit at the nearest level below price that is still above the MA; shorts mirror this. Unfilled orders expire after one bar (Max Wait Bars for Fill). The target is the next level. If price runs against the trade, it adds a limit order at each next level, up to eight entries sized by Pos Size 1 to 8 (1, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 and 64: 128 contracts in a full grid), and moves the target to the first level past the new average price. Live, it closes at market when the open loss reaches $5,000, or you can use a 150-tick stop order. New trades stop after 5 per session or once realized P&L passes $300 either way. It is fully automated, on bar close. What you see. The MA is a thick orange line, the previous range high and low are orchid dashes, and the range being built is blue. Display Levels draws the levels live with Fibonacci labels. Six Chart Trader buttons switch entries on or off, close all, toggle longs and shorts, move the stop to break-even and flip between trend and counter-trend. Excluded time windows are shaded dark red. How to use it. Enter your NinjaCoding account email in Activation Email. Minimum RangeTicks and Maximum RangeTicks (5 and 1,000) skip days with an unusual range. Start with small Pos Size values, because the grid grows fast. To backtest, turn on Back Test. Run it on Sim101 and in the Strategy Analyzer first, and use it at your own risk. Subscription license. Daily Fib Trader comes compiled and locked, on a 6 or 3 month subscription. It suits traders who like rule-based Fibonacci levels, want an automated strategy they can steer from the chart, and understand how a grid adds to a position. Have some good trades!
