NC Discord Publisher Description
NC Discord Publisher is a NinjaTrader Discord add-on that posts your NinjaTrader 8 fills to a Discord channel, and it comes with the full C# source code. If you run a trading room or share trades with friends, typing every entry and exit by hand gets old fast, and it's easy to get a price wrong. So I let NinjaTrader do it: the moment an order fills, a card shows up in your channel. It's simple on purpose: complete fills only, and the card's look is set in the code, not in the settings.
How it works. It runs as an indicator. Add it to any chart, choose the Account, paste your channel's Webhook URL and set a Sender Name (NinjaTrader by default). It listens to every order on that account, whether you placed it by hand, through an ATM or from a strategy. An order is posted once it is completely filled, so partial fills wait for the last part. With Only This Chart's Instrument on (the default), only fills in the chart's instrument go out; turn it off to post the whole account. Only real-time fills are posted, sent in the background so NinjaTrader never waits for Discord.
What you see. Nothing on the chart; it all happens in Discord. Each fill becomes one card under your Sender Name, titled with the instrument (for example ES 12-26), then the action (Buy, Sell, SellShort or BuyToCover), Quantity, Price (the average fill price) and Order Type. Buys and buys to cover get a dark green stripe, sells and short sells a dark red one. If the Webhook URL isn't a valid https address, the account can't be found, or a post fails, you get an error in the NinjaTrader log.
How to use it. In Discord, create a webhook in the channel settings under Integrations and copy its URL. Test on a Sim account first. Use one copy per chart you want to share, or one copy with Only This Chart's Instrument off for the whole account, but not both, or fills post twice. Add another copy for a second account or channel. Keep the webhook URL private: anyone who has it can post to your channel.
Make it yours. Use it as is, learn from the code, or change it yourself or with AI like Claude. You could change the colors, add your own text or tags to the card, post the profit or loss when a position closes, or let your own strategy send its signals through the same webhook. The code is short and split into three clear steps (listen, build the card, post it), so it's an easy base to build on. Have some good trades!
